The rules for using Search Jostle AI

By creating an account, accessing, or using Search Jostle AI in any way, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you must not use the service.

If you are using Search Jostle AI on behalf of a business, you confirm that you have authority to bind that business to these terms.

Search Jostle AI is a visibility intelligence platform built specifically for UK trades businesses. The service provides:

• SEO and AI Visibility (Answer Engine Optimisation) analysis
• AI visibility tracking across ChatGPT, Gemini and Perplexity
• Competitor intelligence and benchmarking
• Content suggestions and ready-made content for your trade
• Monthly reports and an action plan to improve your visibility

We may update, improve or change features over time. We will not materially reduce the core functionality of a paid plan without giving you notice.

To use Search Jostle AI you must:

• Provide accurate, current and complete information when creating your account
• Keep your login credentials secure and not share them with anyone else
• Maintain only one account per business
• Be at least 18 years old or have authority to act for the business you represent

You are responsible for everything that happens on your account. Notify us immediately if you suspect any unauthorised use.

Search Jostle AI offers the following plans:

• Free — limited usage, no credit card required.
• Pro — £49 per month, or £39 per month when billed annually.
• Agency — £149 per month, or £119 per month when billed annually.

Payments are processed by Stripe. By subscribing you authorise recurring charges to your chosen payment method until you cancel. You can cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings.

We do not provide refunds for partial months or for periods of non-use. If you cancel, your subscription remains active until the end of the current billing period.

You agree not to:

• Scrape, copy, or systematically extract data from the platform
• Resell, sublicense or redistribute data, reports or insights from Search Jostle AI
• Reverse engineer, decompile or attempt to access the source code of the platform
• Misuse the service in any way that could harm us, our users, or third parties
• Use the platform for any business that is not a UK-based trades business or service provider
• Submit false information, impersonate another business, or attempt to bypass usage limits

Our handling of your personal data is governed by our Privacy Policy. By using Search Jostle AI you consent to the collection and processing of your data as described there.

We process your data only to provide and improve the service, manage billing, and communicate with you about your account.

Connecting your Google Search Console account is optional. If you choose to connect it, you authorise Search Jostle AI to read your search performance data on your behalf using Google's OAuth process.

We do not store raw Google Search Console data beyond what is needed to generate your reports and visibility insights. You can disconnect Google Search Console at any time from your account settings, which revokes our access immediately.

All content, design, code, branding, scoring methodology and reports produced by Search Jostle AI are owned by Built by Jostle Ltd and are protected by intellectual property laws.

You retain ownership of the data you submit (such as your website URL and business details). You grant us a limited licence to use that data to deliver the service to you.

You may use the reports and recommendations we generate for the operation of your own business. You may not republish, resell or redistribute them.

Search Jostle AI provides visibility data, scoring and recommendations based on publicly available information and third-party APIs. We do not guarantee any specific outcome — including search ranking improvements, AI citation rates, lead volume, or revenue.

You use the platform and act on its recommendations at your own discretion. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Built by Jostle Ltd is not liable for any indirect, consequential, or incidental losses arising from your use of the service.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be excluded under UK law (such as for fraud or death or personal injury caused by negligence).

You may stop using the service and cancel your subscription at any time. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, abuse the service, or pose a risk to other users or our platform.

On termination, your right to use the service ends immediately. Any provisions that by their nature should survive — such as intellectual property, limitation of liability, and governing law — will remain in force.

We may update these terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top will reflect any changes. For significant changes that affect your rights or paid plans, we will notify users by email.

If you continue to use the service after changes take effect, you accept the updated terms. If you do not agree, you should stop using the service.

These terms are governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
